ORA ONE Jewellery Cleaning Method
We are frequently asked for tips on how to clean engagement rings, diamond rings and jewellery effectively at home. We have created the ORA ONE method that we would like to share with you below.
A fast, feasible and effective way to clean your gold jewellery, silver jewellery, diamond jewellery gemstone jewellery at home is to use our ONE method:
• 1 cup of boiling water
• 1 cap of Ammonia
• 1 tablespoon spoon of washing up liquid
• Mix altogether
• Place your Jewellery into the solution for 1 minute
• Take your Jewellery out and use a very soft bristle toothbrush and brush your
• Jewellery piece in small circular motions for 1 minute.
• Put your jewellery piece back into the solution for a minute.
• Take out, rinse thoroughly under the tap, dry completely using a microfibre cloth OR soft toilet roll. And…Shine right on!

Jewellery Care Guide
Avoid direct contact with water and chemical products e.g. soap, perfume, abrasive products.
Avoid impact with hard surfaces.
Protect them from moisture and keep away from all sources of heat such as radiators and windows.
Do not wear jewellery when in the swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna/steam room or while bathing or showering.
Chlorine, detergents, oils & perfumes can all cause tarnishing & damage.
Remove jewellery when doing household tasks.
Always put jewellery on last as a finishing touch after getting ready.
Make-up, perfume & hairspray all contain chemicals that may dull the finish of the jewellery.
Gently wipe jewellery clean with a soft cloth after each wear to remove make up & oils (from skin).
Thoroughly dry jewellery after exposure to water: moisture can cause tarnishing & may weaken springs and clasps.
Coil chains gently to prevent damage in storage.
